What’s the best time to go to Saturnia?
Thanks to the Mediterranean climate of the Tuscan Maremma, and its the mild temperatures, the Cascate del Mulino can be enjoyed in every month of the year.
In spring and autumn, the mild average temperatures mean its probably the best time to visit. The months of May/April and October are normally less crowded and thus more pleasant.
But even in winter the waterfalls are still a great place to visit. The average winter temperatures are never too harsh and it doesn’t rain too often. (the wettest month on average is November). The water at the Saturnia Hot Springs is always at 37°C, so a winter dip is most welcome!
Summer is when the waterfalls are most popular.
